Alex Proppe has been tattooing for ten years and painting and creating for twenty-five! Now a mid-thirties mom of two, she lives and works in her hometown of Calgary, Alberta. Tattooing out of a comfortable, eclectic, grandma’s-vintage inspired private studio in the NW of the city, Alex is a friendly, approachable artist who will help you through the tattoo process from concept to healed piece of art.

Alex also takes a number of painting commissions per year. She specializes in portraits, whether it be a child, wedding painting, or a memento of a loved pet.

When she isn’t tattooing or painting, Alex loves spending time in the outdoors with her family, camping, hiking, running, and wandering; and when she’s not doing any of those other things, she’s trying to become an expert at another new hobby while the old ones watch sadly from the corner.
